The minister instructed to select tools according to farmers' needs, accelerate the distribution process, and create a system where benefits reach beneficiaries transparently without any intermediaries. The minister stated that HACA officials are reviewing the process of empanelment of companies supplying tools under the mechanization scheme. Considering quality, price, accessibility for farmers and other factors, the empanelment list should be finalized quickly, he suggested. Agriculture Minister Tummala clarified that there are no supply difficulties with urea in the state. The minister instructed the Agriculture Department Director to address issues that arise due to mapping delays and other reasons in the central government fertilizer app by speaking with central authorities and resolving them the same day. The minister requested that the central government provide subsidies not just for urea but also for complex fertilizers. The minister said that since subsidy is given for urea while complex fertilizers lack adequate subsidy, farmers use more urea which is available at lower prices. The minister stated that the fertilizer pricing policy should be formulated in a balanced manner and the subsidy policy should encourage the use of all types of fertilizers. Agriculture Minister Tummala clarified that the oil palm cultivation expansion program in the state should be accelerated further. Farmers who have submitted applications should not receive a 'no plants available' response; the supply system should be strengthened so that plants are delivered within two or three days. The agriculture secretary was instructed to prepare plants at least double the target number determined in nurseries, collect details of land available with all departments, and if land is needed for nurseries, take steps to use vacant spaces from other departments on lease basis. The minister instructed that solar panels should be installed on all 2600 farmer platforms across the state, and the implementation plan should be formulated to be completed in a phased manner over 2-3 months. The HACA MD was instructed to take steps to quickly install solar panels on farmer platforms in coordination with REDCO Commissioner, with the state government acting as the nodal agency with HACA and REDCO.
